Seems good quality midi. I downloaded them within a sandboxed envioroment with Sandboxie free and did a scan with Avast and Malwarebytes. With the exception of the Q file Q song names which Avast says is infected with something, all the other files are coming up clean. So that is maybe a false positive but I am not willing to take a chance, so missed out on the Q file.

The Vanbasco is the player to use for actually playing the songs and you will see full screen lyrics scrolling on screen just like the real thing. Update These files seem to open perfectly in biab with full lyric display as well. Trygve, you realize this is completely illegal, right? These files have lyrics and melodies so are a complete copyright violation. These are almost certainly commercially created files that are available for sale by someone. The company that created these is paying royalties on each sale.

How did this guy get them in the first place? Maybe not him personally but if you could trace these files back to the source, that source was hacked, and the old fashioned word for that is stolen, and then these files were put up on the net. After that all kinds of people repost them all over the place.

This looks so nice and simple and innocent. Just another legit website with some interesting stuff to download but the reality is these files are stolen property, simple as that. Want to know why it's gotten harder to find good midi's or Biab files? Because all the sites from years ago that had huge libraries of these files got shut down with legal cease and desist orders. But as you can see they're still around if you look hard enough. Oh, and PG may well decide to nuke this thread so don't be surprised.

Oh, sorry Jazzman, if that is the case, then PG Music should nuke this thread Don't apologize to me, I'm just giving you a heads up. Personally, I can see how it can be useful to home hobbyists, you just need to be aware of the forum rules and the backstory of files like these. Some are hacked commercial files like I said and some are home made and posted by someone who just thinks it's cool to share. That's fine but the files can't include melodies or lyrics and be legal.

See Tony Wright's thread with Biab files he's created over the years. He specifically says they don't have melodies, they're backing tracks only. Allanah had a huge library of Biab files posted for example but they've been taken down.
