Simpson which way western man

Somewhere between "Which Way Western Man? My only complaints with "Which Way Western Man? For one, the book would be much easier to use especially for reference if it contained an index. The publishers would have also made the book better if they had released a hardcover edition as I believe most important works should at least be offered in HC edition.

A couple of photographs contained within the pages would have also been nice the only photograph is of William Gayley Simpson which is featured on the cover. Although I believe that the book is fine at it's full-length of pages, it wouldn't hurt for the publisher to also release an abridged edition of the book. After all, I doubt very few people in "the movement" have read this work, especially because of it's intimidating length.

I hate to admit it, but I believe that the majority of William Gayley Simpson's original intended audience is no longer living. It's not often that I will put a book down without finishing it. This was one of them. Simpson is a great writer no doubt, but I feel as if each chapter rants on and on, on philosophical tangents and it doesn't really get to any real point, I felt like it was a waste of time reading it tbh.
